Become a Foundation Intern!

The Tiverton Library Foundation (TLF) is seeking talented interns. Our internships are great opportunities to become familiar with Foundation work. Intern activities constitute a well-rounded experience which includes administrative duties, networking, research and more! We welcome applicants with backgrounds in library services, non-profit management, marketing, communications, business, and other relevant fields.

We offer two different internship positions:


Communications

 

  • Maintains our social media accounts (Facebook and Instagram)

  • Assists in compiling monthly e-blasts containing relevant news stories and upcoming events (training will be provided).

  • Posts to the Tiverton Library Foundation website page and share news, events, and stories that are of relevance to library patrons.

  • Helps expand TLF's social media presence.

 

Research/Fundraising

 

  • Assists Foundation Board with planning and managing social and fundraising events.

  • Researches potential and current donors.

  • Compiles relevant data.

  • Donor research.

  • Creating fundraising email and mailing templates.
